We recently photographed this unique residence in Pullenvale, Brisbane to showcase the completion of bespoke timber house by Traditional Timber Frames.
The specialist heavy timber framing company contacted us to discuss photos and drone footage of the luxury barn. We suggested a Matterport 3D tour to showcase the interior and provide an unobtrusive solution to present the project in future.
Once the owner saw what the Matterport could do and the level of detail, he booked us immediately.

The home is crafted using old butt joints and timber pins to create the building frame. This space was fairly straight forward due to the layout but we still had to make sure we had good offsets to get the interiors. The tricky part was the barn doors at the end, we wanted to go outside but also showcase the barn doors. Leaving one open and one shut achieved this, showing the difference.
Based in New South Wales, the builder wasn’t able to attend due to border closures at the time so everything was set up via phone and email. This is just another wonderful example of possibilities opened up through the use of innovative technology like Matterport.
The home is stunning and it was a pleasure to be involved in this luxury project.
