This is a home built in behind an original old-style colonial on a battleaxe block. Completely private and built around the backyard to maximise alfresco living (it has a pool too). The main shot we saw straight away was the lounge and dining area which blends into one to deliver open plan living. This is a convenient layout for a family home – imagine Dad cooking dinner, the kids doing homework at the table and Mum kicking back with a beer watching the footy on TV while everything is going on around her.
